Bishop’s Committee Meeting Minutes

The committee met on October 4, 2009. Present were: Mother Cathy Cox, Deacon Brenda Sickler, Deacon Linda Milholen, Deann Megonnell, Michelle Morgan, Joe Shepard, Carol Moore, and Sally Cohen.

Financial report was reviewed and it was agreed to move the $980.00 from the Columberium to the general fund. Since the Columberium is already paid for these funds can be used for other things.

The United Thank Offering needs to be collected again. An announcement will be made next Sunday about this.

Convention was discussed. Bob Wagnon and Romain Morgan are the delegates for this year. Those attending are: Mother Cathy, Deacon Milholen, Deann Megonnell, Michelle Morgan, Bob Wagnon, Romain Morgan and Minda Cox. Rooms have been reserved.

It was mentioned that a new Alter Guild chairman starting next year. Louise would like to give up the position.

We will try to schedule a bishop’s committee meeting for the first Sunday of each month. Next months meeting will be on November 8^th since convention is the weekend before. December will be on the 6^th.
